The ugly truth is abuse attacks every part of a persons being. Sadly it attacks the mind, emotions, and spirit. No one understands why these things happen but God comforts the hurt soul. Sometimes the shame of abuse can cause one to fear. I believe abuse is designed to kill the person but do not fear man but fear God. I am reminded of this psalm of David.
Keep your head up during the storm!
let your eyes look to God!
Lift up your eyes to the hills!
Lord we still believe in thy word even as witness the ugly truths in world and we know that you desire for all to be save!
